LTGraphics & Consulting, Inc. shall not be subject to any obligation(s) of confidentiality with respect to any Entries, nor is the LTGraphics Inc. liable for any use or disclosure of any Photo Entries. Without limitations of the foregoing, the undersigned hereby grants LTGraphics & Consulting, Inc. a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license of every kind and nature, and LTGraphics Inc. shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Photo Entries for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to the provider of the Photo Entries or any other person or entity.

The following describes the official rules and guide lines of the artWORKS Detroit Inspired Visual Arts Contest.

"Entry" refers to the physical piece of artwork submitted to this contest.

"Photo Entry" refers to the photograph taken of the physical piece of artwork submitted to this contest.

"Entrant" refers to the individual that enters the Contest.

LTGraphics, Artist Studio & Showroom designed this contest to promote the Positive About Detroit.  By producing Detroit Inspired Works of Art, the Detroit area artists are given an opportunity to express themselves during times like this when we are dealing with uncertainty, challenge and great growth. Also the artists will receive exposure for themselves and their works, as well as an opportunity to sell their works.

All works submitted will be selected (based on the number of submissions), presented and voted on during a Contest Launch Exhibition, held during Noel Night on December 7, 2013. Within the Historic Sugar Hill Building in Midtown Detroit.  Attendants will enjoy music, food and fun, while viewing and voting on all the selected works. The top vote getters will be put into our Facebook Gallery for additional voting and promotion. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be selected by prominent art professional, from the works that receive the most likes on Facebook.


First Place Winner will receive a website designed and logo design, to be used as apart of the online branding assistance that will be given. The First Place Winner will also receive a month long exhibition and opening night reception, date to be determined after winner is selected.

 

Second Place & Third Place winners will be apart of featured First Place Winner‘s opening reception and included on all promotional material for this event. They will also exhibit their works for an additional three days after the opening reception.

The revised deadline for submissions date is November 27, 2013.

The Art WORKS Detroit Inspired Visual Arts Contest is open to individuals that are sixteen years of age or older.

The contest is not open to organizations, companies, educational institutions, etc, or to any groups that are associated with such institutions.

Works must have been created within the last three years.

 

Each Entrant may submit up to three works of art.

 

Sculpture and Object Compositions must be within 3 feet in dimensions (height is negotiable) and be able to fit through a doorway.
Paintings and Photo Compositions must fit within 5' square space. And, what needs to be framed should be framed.

 

 

The Contest is open to the following forms of artwork: sculpture, photo composition, object composition, painting, drawing, or any other visually artistic expression. The artwork must be free from extreme sexual themes and vulgarity.

Submit up to three good quality digital photos of each piece and Registration Fees via the Registration Form on this website, or Registration, Fees and Works can also be delivered to LTG, Artist Studio & Showroom at 71 Garfield, Suite 170 in Midtown Detroit, Wednesdays - Saturdays from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. All original works must be delivered to LTG, Artist Studio & Showroom by November 27, 2013.  Entrant must include their name, contact information, title of the piece, the medium  used, a brief description of the piece, and a suggested price. 

Pre-Registion Fee for the Contest is $10 per peice submitted. To be on or before to submission deadline November 27th.

Actual works of art must be delivered to 71 Garfield, Suite 170, Detroit MI 48201 on or before submission deadline November 27th, to be apart of the Art WORKS Detroit Inspired Visual Arts Contest Exhibition in midtown to be held on Noel Night.
